WATCH: President Obama Delivers Remarks On The Oklahoma Tornado Tragedy

After a two-mile-wide tornado ripped through Moore, Oklahoma on Monday at speeds between 166 and 200 mph, first responders are moving quickly to assess the damage and casualties. President Obama spoke from the White House on Tuesday morning to offer his condolences and offer federal resources to the community as it begins to clean up and rebuild.  “As a nation, our full focus is on the urgent work of rescue and the hard work of recovery and rebuilding that lies ahead,” Obama said during his remarks. “You face a long road ahead, but you will not travel it alone. Your country will travel it with you.” The president added, “We don’t know both the human and economic losses that may have occurred.” There have been multiple accounts of the number of casualties ranging from 24 to 91 — several children, however, were killed when the tornado hit the Plaza Towers Elementary School in Moore.
